Business is doing so well that we are going to expand our hours.
I have been working for the same cafe for the past six months. The place opened in January, right after the first of the year. The cafe is really unique and special and very different from many of the other cafes in the area. This particular cafe sells items that are infused with cannabis. I was so excited when I got hired to work in the kitchen. I was fresh out of culinary school and desperately looking for a chance to prove myself. When the cannabis cafe opened, I saw the opportunity of a lifetime. I created the most amazing menu on my own with several different dishes featuring the marijuana flower. I use a variety of different marijuana products to make my sweet and savory confections. I have distillate, whole dried flower, tinctures, and a variety of cannabis terpenes. I also keep different cannabinoids on hand like CBD, CBG, THC-A. These cannabinoids increase the effects of THC and add to the dining experience. Last weekend, the boss called me into the office to give me some news. The cafe is going to be opening for dinner starting in June. Business is doing so well that we are going to expand our hours. The boss is willing to hire another chef to help with the work, but he gave me the chance to choose what shift I want to work. The guy wants me to continue running the kitchen and would be happy if I was willing to work 13 hours a day. Unfortunately, I don’t think my family would be happy with that schedule.
