Thankfully my cannabis doctor’s office has a mask mandate; however, I wasn’t too happy to arrive the other day and find out that the air conditioning was disabled for repairs.
I loved being able to do telehealth appointments with my cannabis doctor’s office during the pandemic. They would send me a text message notifying me that a video call would be appearing in two minutes, giving me a chance to get ready. Then I would have a short video call with my nurse first and then my cannabis doctor. The people at the front desk would then collect my co-pay over the phone with my credit card number. Unfortunately, this opportunity ended when my state decided that all pandemic response efforts were no longer necessary and said that all patients must be physically present again to do physician checkups and visits, even with cannabis doctors as well. Thankfully my cannabis doctor’s office has a mask mandate; however, I wasn’t too happy to arrive the other day and find out that the air conditioning was disabled for repairs. I know that it’s too expensive to get the machine repaired in the middle of the night, but can’t they do it early some morning and move all of the appointments to a later time? Usually I’m comfortable speaking with my cannabis doctor about the success of various marijuana products, but this time I was extremely hot and uncomfortable from the lack of a/c in the building. Thankfully the marijuana doctor tried to push the appointment along as quickly as possible, and I started to realize that he looked equally as uncomfortable as I was. Before I left, he apologized for the hot environment and said that it was a sudden failure to the HVAC system, not a planned or scheduled repair.
