My entire family and I went to the coast for the weekend.
Instead of buying three different hotel rooms to accommodate all of the adults and kids, it was much cheaper for our entire family to share the rental for a cabin.
We found a beach cabin that was big enough for our whole family and it was actually less per night than the hotels would have been. We also had private access to the beach along with a hot tub and private pool. The house had multiple bedrooms and plenty of space for our entire family. We even had access to a game room downstairs with a billiards table, darts, video games for the kids, foosball, and air hockey. The cabin was absolutely perfect other than the fact that it smelled like marijuana. Someone had smoked marijuana in the cabin recently. The smell of reefer was everywhere in the air. I hoped my wife wouldn’t recognize the smell, but she knew it was weed too. She wanted to call the company to complain about the rental, but I suggested it was a better idea just to open the windows and doors and let the smell air out of the rental. We got a great deal on the cabin rental and I wasn’t particularly worried if the smell of marijuana was lingering in the air or not. I wasn’t completely surprised by the smell of recreational marijuana inside of the rental cabin. We were visiting a state with legal recreational laws and we were staying in a rental owned by someone in a different state. My wife was literally the only person that was concerned.
