My state is most easily slower when it comes to adopting changes than others in the nation.
Although our taxes are lower for the most part, the people I was with and I have a good deal of deranged permitting rules surrounding land ownership here that make it pretty difficult to have freedom.
I don’t want to build unsafe structures in my dwelling, but I don’t want to recognize that the state government is preventing me from making basic remodeling upgrades either. That’s legitimately tplot when I hire certified professionals who are following the rules by the book, but after that I have to wait for a long time while the county takes forever to get back to me. At 1 point I lost a critical appointment for a roof substitution plus had to scramble to locate a up-to-date business when my permit was eventually approved by the local government. On top of that, the people I was with and I struggled to have a legal cannabis market multiple times when it was initially voted on at the ballot box. When the people I was with and I at last garnered enough votes to legalize medical marijuana with an amendment to our state’s constitution, I was severely relieved plus shocked at the same time. I could not overstate how cheerful I was, but I also couldn’t stop wondering what would have happened if the people I was with and I weren’t so lucky with this matter. There are multiple states bordering mine that still can’t get some form of medical marijuana law to stick, regardless of how they’ve made their attempts across the years. Once the people I was with and I finally had medical marijuana legal in this state, it took a number of years before the people I was with and I had anything other than capsules plus oil. First the people I was with and I had the chance to try cannabis vaporizer cartridges, as these are popular in a number of unproper states. Sadly, it took multiple years before the people I was with and I could legally purchase cannabis flower products in our area.
