I didn't see the car slam on their brakes

My boss had to meet me at the scene of the accident and she took all of the deliveries.

Last weekend I was in a horrible car accident and now I have to sit at home by myself all day and all night. The accident is my own fault, really. I wasn’t paying attention to the car in front of me. When the owner of the vehicle slammed on their brakes, I didn’t have enough time to react and I hit the back of their car. The biggest problem was the fact that I was working at the time. I deliver marijuana products for a recreational and medical marijuana dispensary. I was on my way to a customer with a marijuana order, when the accident occurred. The damage was severe and the owner of the vehicle called the state police. They had about a thousand different questions about my job and all of the marijuana in the car. I honestly thought they were going to take me away in handcuffs. They wouldn’t let me leave with all of that marijuana. My car was totaled anyways, so I didn’t have any way to transport the marijuana. My boss had to meet me at the scene of the accident and she took all of the deliveries. She told me to go home for the day. The next day I received a phone call from work. That manager told me that I am suspended for two weeks and they are going to thoroughly investigate the accident. They have the state police breathing down their neck and the officers won’t release any of the items that They confiscated from my car.
