When I was in highschool, it was pretty weird.
I was a popular student, mostly, I believe, because I was nice, and involved in lots of stuff at school.
But, I wasn’t a jock, so that sort of made it odd, I guess. Still, I got along with everyone very well. I stayed on the straight and narrow. The first time I even had a toke of recreational marijuana, I was in our fourth year of university. And really, it was university that I hit our stride and entirely fit in. So I legitimately didn’t keep up with our high school friends. That’s what makes the big success of a high school reunion I hosted recently so surprising. In my state, recreational marijuana and medical marijuana are legal. It’s also a place that many people choose as a holiday destination. So when I joined a social media group of my old classmates, my town became the destination for this reunion. With a bit of planning and communicating, we had over 70 people decide that they’d travel for the reunion, if I hosted it. Of course, I make trips to the local cannabis spot, and that was also one of the big reasons everyone wanted to come out here. I never smoked marijuanna with this crowd in high school, but, man, did we make up for all of that. I can’t believe what a cool bunch of people I went to high school with. It was great fun, and this local cannabis spot branded me a hero for bringing in so much business!
