Planning and communicating

When I was in highschool, it was pretty weird.

I was a popular child, however more so because I was nice and involved in lots of stuff at school.

But I wasn’t a jock, so that sort of made it weird, I guess. Still, I got along with everyone very well. I stayed on the straight and narrow. The first time I even had a taste of recreational marijuana, I was in my sophomore year of college. And really, it was college that I hit my stride and began to truly fit in. So, keeping up with my high school friends didn’t really happen. That’s what makes the raging success of a recent high school reunion I hosted so surprising. I live in a state where both recreational marijuana and medical marijuana are legal. It’s also a place where lots of people – many, many people – choose to vacation. So, when I joined a social media group of my former classmates, my city became the destination for a reunion! With a bit of planning and communicating, over 70 people decided that they’d travel for the reunion if I hosted it! Of course, I make trips to the local cannabis spot, and that was also one of the big reasons everyone wanted to come out here for this. I never smoked with this crowd in high school, because I didn’t smoke! But, man, did we make up for all of that! Who knew what a cool group I went to school with? Not me! It was great fun, and my local cannabis spot thinks I’m a hero for bringing in so much business.
