Moderation with medical cannabis is key

Part of the college experience is going to class, taking tests, and figuring out what you want to do with your life.

  • Another part of the college experience is getting drunk and stoned and partying your butt off.

Seriously, this is a keystone for college life. If you don’t go a little crazy in college, when will you do it? When I was at the university, I barely passed most of my classes. I got so into the party scene I forgot about getting good grades! Getting wasted on booze and medical cannabis was something I did every single day. I am happy to say that I finally learned my lesson, and although I still actively use medical cannabis I do so with much more moderation. My problem was that I felt strange whenever I wasn’t stoned, so I would spend all day, every day, smoking medical cannabis. My therapist showed me that I can’t be afraid to be sober, and to listen to my own thoughts. Like I said, I still smoke medical cannabis every day, but a lot less than I used to. Usually I will wait until the end of the day, when I am ready to relax, before I take out the bong and the medical marijuana. I have also cut back on drinking alcohol, and unlike medical cannabis I feel that life is better without it. Medical cannabis has so many health benefits, but alcohol does not. A few glasses of wine once in a while is all I drink these days, but medical cannabis is still an everyday occurrence.
