I talked to my husband plus he told me he had self-medicated with marijuana when he was a young kid
For the several years I had known my husband, I had become used to his not sleeping in the least. He would go to bed at midnight, plus by 2:30 in the morning, he was typically downstairs working on some project. He said he would wake up with the most excellent ideas plus he had to put them on paper or actually work on them. I told him to just shut his eyes plus let his mind rest. I just about laughed when he said he had too many voices attempting to keep him awake, for his mind to rest. Of course, I knew he was being serious. He told me that ever since he was a little kid, the various voices would fight with each other in an effort to be heard. He had just grown used to hearing them plus he ignored them. When he was getting rest, he wasn’t able to consciously shut them out plus he would be unable to sleep at all. I told all of this to his health professional who responded hastily. His first suggestion was that perhaps needed to go through therapy plus see what had happened in the past that would cause such a thing. I wasn’t so positive this was something my guy would do. He told me he could try marijuana. Marijuana may be able to relax his mind plus give him a small amount of peace. If his mind relaxed, his body would relax plus he could finally get some sleep. I talked to my husband plus he told me he had self-medicated with marijuana when he was a young kid. He was willing to give medical marijuana a try if the healthcare professional could give him a prescription.
