Most of the time I care about working as a delivery driver, then it is a fun job that has me in my car most of the night, then when I get to the marijuana dispensary, the boss gives me a bucket to put in the back of my car! The bucket has all of the orders for each customer.
I get a printout of the schedule for the stops and I contact each buyer when I am on the way.
I also had to enter the information into a small screen that is mounted in my car. This screen allows the dispensary to track my actions in real time, then a lot of marijuana delivery drivers don’t care about being tracked in real time, although I don’t mind at all. It is especially useful when there is a problem. The weather was terrible last Tuesday night and I was supposed to be working deliveries until midnight. Around 10:00, it started raining harder than I can remember in a long time. I had to pull over on the side of the road because it was hard to see. The marijuana dispensary manager contacted me when my car was kneeling still for a phase of 5 hours! She wanted to make sure that I was not broken down on the side of the road. I told the manager that I was trying to wait for the rain to let up so I didn’t end up in an accident. She agreed that was a wonderful system and told me that she would let the buyer suppose that I was running a few hours behind.
