There are experts who are critics of medical marijuana

Since it became legal, medical marijuana has been used increasingly amongst people for various reasons. I have a family member who uses it to help with her son’s seizures. Personally, I suffer from the occasional migraine headache, and I have used medical marijuana to alleviate the pain. There are many doctors including mine, who are fully behind the use of medical marijuana to help to fight various diseases and illnesses. Interestingly, there are critics as well as “expert doctors who are still skeptical about the benefits of medical marijuana. I am not sure why so many experts and professionals remain skeptical ever after the studies are proving the benefits of using medical marijuana. It has shown to be beneficial for diseases like cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, auto-immune diseases, PTSD, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and so many other ailments and diseases. It is also helpful with migraines, anxiety, anorexia, and so much more. While there are lots of benefits to using this alternative treatment, there are some side effects of using the drug. The most common ones include nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and drowsiness. And because the marijuana contains tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), someone might experience an increase in appetite. Logically, the benefits far outweigh the side effects, which means medical marijuana is a great alternative to conventional medicine. Between the positive results in treating chronic pain as well as various diseases, medical marijuana will continue to be a popular form of treatment. I am not quite sure if the skeptics will ever change their minds, but at some point, they will need to follow the science because at the end of the day, the proof is in the pudding.
