Medical marijuana benefits thousands of people across the country. The plant is very versatile and useful, but it has become quite a controversial plant. The Cannabis sativa plant has more than 100 different receptors called cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are well known and well researched. Two of the main cannabinoids found in the cannabis sativa plant are cannabidiol or CBD and tetrahydrocannabinol or THC. CBD does not have any psychoactive effects and can be used in a variety of gummies, drinks, oils, and tinctures. THC can also be very beneficial, but it does have more psychoactive effects. THC can make you feel euphoric, dazed, happy, or tired. There are lots of reasons to use the Cannabis sativa plant. Medical marijuana has been approved to help lower blood pressure, reduce pain and inflammation, treat anxiety disorders, prevent seizures, and even help fight many forms of cancer. I have been a medical marijuana patient for the past 3 years. I was first given a prescription for medical marijuana to help with chronic pain. I have terrible neuropathy and my feet are due to diabetes. I try my best to exercise and eat healthy, but I still have problems with neuropathy. Medical marijuana helps a great deal. Last year the state tried to approve a bill that would make recreational marijuana legal across the state. Unfortunately, there were too many people that did not want to see the law pass. I’m hopeful that the measure will be on the ballot again next time we have an election. I would really like to see recreational marijuana legalized across the state for everyone. It would lower the prices for all of the medical marijuana patients and give us a much larger supply chain to choose from.
