I’d love to hear your thoughts on this matter – tell me what kind of medical cannabis you like, and how it impacts your creativity
Every kind of art therapy is a little different. Art is purely subjective, which means that what is art to one person may not be for another person. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? Some of my patients draw with pencil, or markers, while other patients might paint or sculpt. I have a patient that dances, and that is her creative outlet, while another patient carves ice sculptures. There is no wrong way to do art, and art therapy is beneficial for everyone. Personally, I prefer to write as my form of therapy. Similarly, I feel that cannabis can be beneficial to everyone, although different people need different kinds of cannabis. Just like art, medical cannabis is very versatile and offers something for everyone. I prefer the sativa strains of medical cannabis, and usually in flower form. Some of my friends prefer vape products, or the edible form of cannabis gummies. They don’t like the smoke to damage their lungs, so they use other forms of cannabis products. For me medical cannabis is an essential part of my art therapy, because it allows me to shut down my conscious thoughts and become absorbed into the artistic process. Without medical cannabis I think too much, and can’t let instinct take over. My artistic process involves medical cannabis sativa and writing, but it is different for everyone. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this matter – tell me what kind of medical cannabis you like, and how it impacts your creativity. No matter how you look at it, art and medical cannabis just go together.
