The last batch of products were absolutely a hit, but these samples really missed the mark
I started working at a cannabis dispensary, because I thought it would be a fun and exciting job. My friend Carol was working at the pot shop and she told me that they were looking for a new person to work at the counter as a budtender. It seemed fun and I was happy about the perks like 35% off all merchandise including wax, concentrate, distillate, and marijuana flower. They also offered paid days off, and a profit sharing program after two years. With all those perks, it was hard to say no. One of my favorite parts of the job is trying new cannabis products. When the store receives new cannabis products from the manufacturers, there are always samples for the budtenders to try. Last month, one of the live resin concentrate manufacturers sent three different samples. I didn’t have to pay for any live resin concentrate at all that month, because I received three grams for free. We received more cannabis products from the same manufacturer last weekend. I expected them to be the same good quality, but they were very disappointing. The new cannabis products aren’t that great. They don’t have the same flavor and they have a weird color and consistency. If I was paying $50 a gram for cannabis concentrate and I opened one of these jars, I would be very upset and likely take the product right back to the dispensary. The last batch of products were absolutely a hit, but these samples really missed the mark. I hope they make a few final changes before they introduce these items to the public.
