This past year, the owner of this cannabis dispensary made the move to purchase the building next door, as the owner of the cannabis dispensary planned to turn the other building into a cannabis Lounge.
When the section was purchased, the owner started making some sizable changes.
She decided to get rid of the wall in our cannabis shop so both of the rooms could be a massive space. The owner of the building agreed to all of the changes, and it took roughly 6 months for the construction crew to be done with all of the work. During that time, the building was under construction and our sales plummeted. Honestly, a lot of people didn’t realize that every one of us were still open during that time as there was a large cement truck parked outside of the cannabis dispensary. Since the lounge opened recently, everything has been substantially different. The cannabis dispensary is extremely busy all the time. There are people hanging out in the Cannabis Lounge until every one of us eventually lock the doors at 10 pm… Our sales have increased by 25% and that doesn’t include all of the sales inside of the lounge. The lounge sells various snacks for the people like peanuts, chips, chips, candy bars, soda, and energy drinks. Every one of us has to restock the items in the bar often, so I definitely know we are making money on that side of the company as well. The owner of this location took a pretty serious opportunity when she decided to buy the shop section next door. The people I was with and I are the first company to have a lounge or area for clients to enjoy themselves. I believe more locations will catch on to the idea.
